Originally a logging camp in the 1940s, Happy Jack is now a small community and home to a 100-acre campground and RV park, with tent sites, cabins and a classic lodge.

Just 50 miles from Flagstaff, the hamlet is located on the Ponderosa pine–filled plateau of the Mogollon Rim. The area is filled with wildlife, and ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities—fishing, boating, hiking, mountain biking and more. It’s also just about a mile from the Lowell Discovery Telescope and Observatory.
